When is Carowinds and SCarowinds Open in September 2014?

Although school is back in session, Carowinds still offers a limited opening schedule in September. Those who are looking for shorter lines and (hopefully!) cooler weather might enjoy visiting Carowinds in September. As people return to school, the crowds at Carowinds may be lower with shorter wait times for the rides.

The water park inside of Carowinds called Boomerang Bay is closed in September, but you might be able to catch a few wet rides outside of Boomerang Bay, such as Rip Roarin' Rapids or Whitewater Falls. Some rides may not run due to weather conditions, maintenance, etc. on any given date.

Here is the 2014 Carowinds schedule for September that was accurate based on the Carowinds web site on the date this article was published:

When is Carowinds Open in June 2014?

Carowinds, an amusement park off I-77 at the border of North Carolina and South Carolina, offers a wide variety of roller coasters, children's rides, water park, and shows. In 2014, the dates and times of operation vary from day to day, so I created a chart showing dates and times from their official site for both Carowinds and the water park called Boomerang Bay inside of Carowinds. According to an email received on June 22, 2014, the two new waterslides are now open.

These dates and times were current as of the date this article was published. Some rides may not be running during all open hours due to inclement weather, repairs, etc.

When is Carowinds Open in April 2014?

As temperatures begin to rise, many families begin to look for fun outdoor activities. Carowinds, an amusement park loaded with roller coasters, rides, a water park, and more, is a popular destination for many in the Southeastern United States.

In 2014, Carowinds will be open several dates in April as noted in the chart below. These dates and times are from their web site on the date this article was published. Please note that Boomerang Bay, the water park inside of Carowinds, does not open until May 24, 2014. Some rides may close due to inclement weather or for repairs.
